The 125,000-square-foot Liberty Creek Middle School will be similar in design and size to the district's Knox Doss Middle School, reports The Hendersonville Standard.
The middle school will be built on a campus in Gallatin that already is home to a high school and elementary school set to open this summer.
Funds for the project come from a $52.2 million bond issue voters approved in March 2021.
The school is set to be completed in August 2024.
Robert Biscan & Company is the construction manager andKatz, Binkley, Jones & Morris is the architect.
