The University of Wisconsin-River Falls is planning to construct a $117 million Science and Technology Innovation Center.
The 73,865-square-foot SciTech building will provide classroom space for biology, chemistry, pre-engineering and health sciences programs. The first floor will be dedicated to collaborations with regional businesses, reports Wisconsin Public Radio.
The University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents has approved the project, and the university now is waiting for approval from the state Building Commission to move forward with the project.
