The Pre-K Academy & Center for Teaching Excellence will house about 288 students aged 3 to 5 and will also provide classroom and office space for the college's growing education division, the college says in a news release.
The existing facility is able to accommodate only about 68 students.
The two-story, 60,000-square-foot center will enable the college to expand hands-on training for its bachelor of applied science program in early childhood education.
