Dallas College is constructing a $33 million facility on its Richland campus
Dallas College is constructing a 100,000-square-foot building on its Richland campus in Dallas called Red River Hall.
The $33 million project will have 41 classrooms and three computer labs, reports Community Impact.
The facility will house an Early College High School Education Partners Center for dual-credit high school students from the Richardson (Texas) district. It will also feature a 4,000-square-foot conference space, a coffee shop and a cafeteria.
Once completed, Red River Hall will be the second-largest building on the campus behind Sabine Hall, according to college officials.
Funds for the building will come from a $1.1 billion bond program that Dallas County residents approved in 2019.
The facility is expected to be completed in June 2023.
