The Hatboro-Horsham Patch reports that the $125 million facility will replace the existing Keith Valley Middle. It is scheduled to open for the 2025-26 school year.
When the new school is completed, the existing Keith Valley Middle will be torn down, and athletic fields will be reconstructed there.
The district decided to build a new facility after determining that the extensive renovations needed would cost nearly as much as new construction. The building opened in 1958 as Hatboro-Horsham High School and no longer meets educational standards or accessibility regulations.
The architect is SCHARDERGROUP, and the construction manager is D’Huy Engineering.
