Wawasee (Indiana) district breaks ground on replacement elementary

The $34.1 million Milford Elementary will replace the existing campus and is scheduled to open in 2026-27.

The Warsaw Times-Union reports that the $34.1 million facility in Milford will house students in prekindergarten through fifth grade and is scheduled to open for the 2026-27 school year.
 
Demolition of the existing building won’t happen until the new elementary school is open. The site of the existing school will become a parking lot and drop-off area.
 
The new facility will have space for three classes at every grade level.
 
The architect is Elevatus Architecture.
