Orange (Ohio) district approves $3.87 million in high school renovations
The Orange (Ohio) district is moving forward with a $3.87 million renovation of Orange High School in Pepper Pike.
The plans call for renovating the school's locker rooms and front entryway, reports Cleveland.com.
The district will install a double buzzer system to enter the school, which is intended to create more secure entryway.
The locker rooms will be upgraded to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The renovations also will create gender-neutral restrooms and changing areas along with a single-user restroom.
The area will also receive new HVAC systems, new lockers, lighting, windows and extra storage space.
Construction is expected to be completed by August 2022.
