High School library in Grand Blanc, Mich., will undergo a $1.4 million upgrade

The Grand Blanc (Mich.) district is renovating the library at Grand Blanc High School. 

The $1.4 million project will provide more flexibility, update technological access and add a 12-foot fireplace, reports MLive. 

The updated space will have a large group meeting area with two screens, a conference and games area, and other smaller group meeting rooms.

School officials said they wanted the library improvements to create a collegiate-level feel.

The renovation is expected to be completed by fall 2022.
