Central Valley (Pa.) district plans renovations for primary school
The Central Valley (Pa.) district is looking at renovating the Center Grange Primary School in Aliquippa.
The $11.65 million renovation would enable the district to provide full-day kindergarten at the school, reports The Beaver County Times.
The plans call for adding 26,000 square feet. About 16,000 square feet would consist of full-day kindergarten classrooms, general classrooms, special education classrooms and support spaces, a music room, a small group instruction space, a large group instruction space and support spaces.
The other 10,000 square feet would consist of a gymnasium that would be used as a dedicated space for primary students to participate in physical education activities, as well as additional space for the district for school and community programs.
If approved, the addition could be completed by 2023.
