The university is working with the Collegiate Housing Foundation and American Campus Communities to renovate student housing, reports WNWO-TV.
The first residence hall to receive renovations is Presidents Hall, which will see four-person, six-person and eight-person suites with new furnishings, multipurpose spaces and kitchenette additions.
Other facilities slated for renovation: International House, MacKinnon Hall, McComas Village, Ottawa Hall and Parks Tower.
Academic House will be closed.
A 35-year ground lease agreement states that $184 million to $271 million will be allocated to pay for renovations and maintenance.
