Pittsburg (Kan.) district is renovating 101-year-old middle school

All four floors of Pittsburg Community Middle School will be renovated, and an elevator will be installed to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The project will upgrade all four floors of the building. Existing classrooms will be remodeled, a science laboratory added, and an auditorium renovated. The school will install an elevator to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, reports The Joplin Globe.
The project will be funded by a $16.5 million bond proposal that voters approved in January.
