$13 million renovation approved for elementary School in Front Royal, Va.

Leslie Fox Keyser Elementary School in Front Royal, Va., is slated to receive a $13 million renovation. 

The project will replace the school's HVAC system, upgrade the gymnasium and stage, install solar daylighting devices in each classroom pod, replace existing exterior windows, and improve the kitchen, cafeteria and library, reports Royal Examiner. 

Nearly $10.2 million in grant funds received by the Warren County (Va.) district the will cover most of the renovation costs. 

The renovation is slated to begin in January 2023 and is expected to be completed in fall 2024.
