Among the largest school districts in the United States, four districts in Utah spent the least per pupil in the 2017-18 school year.

Figures from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) show that in 2017-18, per-pupil expenditures in the Alpine (Utah) school system were $6,646. The Jordan, Davis and Granite districts in Utah are the next lowest on the list of lowest per-pupil expenditures.

The national median of total revenues per pupil across all school districts was $13,914, the NCES says.
