Student killed in stabbing at Kansas City, Mo., middle school
A student has been fatally stabbed in a bathroom fight with another student at Northeast Middle School in Kansas City, Mo.
Police were called to the school Tuesday morning after a security guard found two boys inside a bathroom fighting each other, reports WDAF-TV. Investigators said one of the students stabbed the other student with a knife.
UPDATE (April 13): Kansas City police have identified the victim as Manuel J. Guzman, 14.
The Kansas City Star reports that another student has been charged as a juvenile with first-degree murder, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon
Police have not said if a motive for the stabbing had been determined.
Northeast Middle has students in seventh and eighth grade.
