18-year-old student stabbed at a Columbia, Md., high school, suspect in custody
A student at Long Reach High School in Columbia, Md., was seriously wounded Thursday in a stabbing outside the school.
The incident occurred at about 11 a.m. in a school parking lot. Two students got into a fight that led to the stabbing, reports WJZ-TV.
The wounded student, 18, was reported in serious but stable condition.
The suspect, 17, fled the scene, but was later taken into custody.
Charges are pending.
