Student shot to death at high school in Seattle; suspect arrested
A student at Ingraham High School in Seattle was shot to death Tuesday inside the school.
The Seattle Times reports that the shooting occurred about 100 feet from a school entrance. The student, whose identity has not been disclosed, died from his wounds.
A suspect was arrested on a metro bus about an hour after the incident.
School Superintendent Brent Jones said the shooting appeared to be a targeted attack.
Authorities have declined to say whether the suspect was a student at Ingraham.
Classes at the school have been canceled Wednesday and Thursday.
