Florida schools search for money to beef up security

Marion County Public School district in Florida is in the process of applying for grants in order to increase security at its schools, according to the Ocala Star Banner. The need for extra security comes as a result of two teenaged boys breaking into a school, damaging property, stealing goods and severely injuring a sheep by shooting it in the head with an arrow, stabbing it with a pitchfork and hitting it with a cement block. Both students face criminal charges.
