New York City school bus drivers' strike continues; replacements brought in

From CBSNewYork: As the New York City school bus strike continues, some bus companies are starting to use replacement drivers to help special-needs kids get to school. Buses rolled out Tuesday on Staten Island amid jeers, boos and shouts of “scab” from striking school bus drivers and matrons. A district spokeswoman says all of the city’s 58 special education buses were able to go out on their route Tuesday morning. But striking drivers say the replacements aren’t qualified to handle students with special needs. The strike began two weeks ago; the bus drivers' union is trying to protect the jobs of the most experienced bus drivers if the companies they work for lose city contracts.
