A $5 million gift from the Raymond and Ruth Perelman Education Foundation will enable Drexel University in Philadelphia to reimagine the center of its campus. The resulting hub for the Drexel community will be known as The Raymond G. Perelman Plaza. The university says the location will be the Drexel's primary outdoor social and event space. It has the university's largest academic building, the home for the LeBow College of Business, rising at one end and a new residential and retail center, Chestnut Square, at the other end.
