The Dallas Independent School District is considering spending an additional $4.5 million to improve security on district campuses. CBSDFW.com says the administration is recommending that secondary schools be equipped with additional security cameras and that elementary campuses be equipped with electronic door-strike buzzers, eight-camera digital recorder systems, and card-reader systems.
