A fire has destroyed most of a classroom building at Mulholland Middle School in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Daily News reports that someone apparently had broken into the building, but fire investigators say they have not determined if the fire was set. The fire, in a 30-foot-by-50-foot "bungalow" building, was extinguished in about 20 minutes, and no one was hurt. The two-classroom building housed the school's police academy magnet program, which prepares students for law enforcement careers.
