Yukon district says request would generate more than 250,000 pages and would take months to complete.

The Yukon (Okla.) school district says it will charge a woman $65,000 to fulfill an open records request that would yield more than a quarter million pages of documents. The Oklahoman says that officials have estimated the records request would take several months to complete and would cripple his district. Debbie Wright, whose daughter once attended Yukon schools, has asked for copies of emails between two groups of district employees. Wright is suing the district. She contends that her daughter and another girl were harassed and bullied by students and instructors.
