Teacher, aide resign after admitting they duct-taped 2nd grader to chair

A police investigation of the incident at Woodlake Elementary in the Judson (Texas) district is ongoing.

A teacher and a teacher's aide have resigned from an elementary school in the Judson (Texas) district after admitting that they duct-taped a second-grader to his chair because he was being too rambunctious. The San Antonio Express-News says The teacher and the aide at Woodlake Elementary School admitted that they restrained the boy with duct tape. The district says both resigned rather than being fired. A police investigation is ongoing.
