The facility that housed Bishop Byrne middle school and high school in Memphis will soon become the home of three new charter schools. MyFoxMemphis.com says Influence1, a charter school foundation, has bought the former Catholic school campus. It will be home to three charter schools: City University School of Liberal Arts (350 scholars, grades 9-12); City University Boys Preparatory (140 scholars, grades 6-8); and City University Girls Preparatory (90 scholars, grade 6).
