Objections raised about student transfers from unaccredited Missouri districts

People from some of the receiving districts fear transfer students will detract from educational quality

A Missouri Supreme Court ruling has given families the right to transfer their children out of unaccredited school districts, but some people in St. Louis-area districts that are receiving the transfers are unhappy that their schools have to accommodate the out-of-district students. The New York Times reports that class, race, geography and social perceptions are complicating the transfer process.
