Wentzville (Mo.) district set to open 3rd high school

Liberty High will have freshmen only in its first year

The $40.3 million Liberty High School is opening this week in the Wentzville (Mo.) district. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch says the 283 incoming freshmen will have the school to themselves until next year, when another crop of freshmen arrive. When the inaugural class graduates from a full four-year school in 2017, enrollment will be about 1,250. Liberty will be the third high school in Wentzville, one of the fastest-growing districts in Missouri.
