Money woes force 2 prestigious Philadelphia schools to close their libraries
Sept. 13, 2013

The Philadelphia Inquirer says the closings are the result of the district's severe financial problems. The principals at Central and Masterman, magnet schools that take in top students from across the city, are trying to figure out how to reopen the libraries in a limited way.
