Wisconsin district readies 2 new schools

Intermediate school campuses will replace outdated middle school facility

Two new intermediate schools are set to open in Oconomowoc, Wis., in September. The Silver Lake Intermediate School on the city's far south side, and Nature Hill Intermediate School on the north side, are identical in size (124,000 square feet) and configuration. The 85-year-old middle school, which served grades 7 and 8, was closed at the end of the last school year. The intermediate schools will have students in grades 5 through 8.
